Casey Kear enters his third season on the Franklin &
Marshall men's lacrosse staff.
In 2007, Kear coached the Diplomat defense that only allowed 8.15
goals against per game. He also led F&M to a .852 success rate
on man down situations, ranking 7th in the nation in Division
III.
Kear is a 2006 graduate of the State University of New York at
Albany with a Bachelor of Arts in History. He was long stick
midfielder on the United States Military Academy at West Point
men's lacrosse team in 2002 and at Herkimer County Community
College in 2003, Kear helped lead Herkimer to the 2003 National
Junior College title.
He finished his career as a close defenseman at Albany during the
2004 and 2005 seasons as he totaled 76 ground balls in 32 games
with 17 starts, including starting all 16 games of 2005, in two
seasons.
