F&M (7-1, 5-1 CC) at Johns Hopkins (6-2, 5-1 CC)
Johns Hopkins and Franklin & Marshall meet for the 61st time in a series that began in Baltimore with a 10-3 F&M win in 1912. The Diplomats hold a 34-24-2 lead in the series and an 18-11-2 lead at Homewood Field. Since Centennial Conference play began in 1983, Johns Hopkins owns a 14-12 lead, but F&M has a 7-6 edge in Baltimore. Hopkins had won five straight at home over F&M leading up to the 2007 meeting the last game at Hopkins, a 19-11 F&M win.

Twenty-Seven Diplomats Named to Academic Honor Roll
Twenty-seven Diplomats have been named to the 2009 Centennial Conference (CC) Fall Academic Honor Roll. To be nominated for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must participate in at least 50% of his or her teams contests, be a sophomore or higher and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.40.

Harrison and Lovett Earn POTW Honors
Franklin & Marshall quarterback, John Harrison (Flourtown, Pa./La Salle College H.S.), and cornerback, Barry Lovett (Brooklyn, N.Y. / Poly Prep), were named Centennial Conference (CC) Players of the Week. Harrison was named the Co-Offensive Player of the Week, while Lovett was the conferences Defensive Player of the Week.

Records Fall as Harrison Leads F&M to Victory
John Harrison completed 26 passes for 404 yards and five touchdowns to lead Franklin & Marshall to a 41-20 win at McDaniel on Saturday. The sophomore signal caller reset the school season records for completions, passing yards and touchdowns in the Centennial Conference (CC) win. He also broke the single-game record for passing yards with the first 400-yard day in F&M history. Franklin & Marshall moved to 7-1 (5-1 CC), while McDaniel fell to 4-4 (2-4 CC).

Franklin & Marshall (6-1, 4-1 CC) at McDaniel (4-3, 2-3 CC)
Franklin & Marshall will do battle with McDaniel for the 43rd time in a series that dates back to 1904. F&M has won each of the last five meetings, three of which were played in Lancaster. The last two meetings in Westminster saw the Diplomats walk off with overtime wins. The 2005 overtime win ended a decade long drought for the Diplomats in North Central Maryland. The 2007 overtime win spoiled McDaniels homecoming.

Diplomats Defense Secures Homecoming Victory
Given a 13-0 edge, Franklin & Marshalls defense repeatedly came up with plays when needed to hold off Muhlenberg in a rain-soaked 20-7 Homecoming win. Two big pass plays gave F&M (6-1, 4-1 CC) a 13-0 jump in the first quarter, not too long before the field became a quagmire. The defense took over from there.

Muhlenberg (2-4, 1-3 CC) at Franklin & Marshall (5-1, 3-1 CC)
Todays game marks the 93rd meeting between Muhlenberg and Franklin & Marshall in a series that began in Lancaster 107 years ago with a 69-0 F&M win. The shutout was the first of nine consecutive shutouts in the series (spread out over 22 years) with F&M earning the first four, and Muhlenberg the next five. Shutouts have been a hallmark of the series. 25 games have ended with at least one team having a goose egg on the board. The 1930 engagement in Lancaster ended in a 0-0 tie. Muhlenberg has won each of the past two meetings.

Eager Collects Third Player of the Week Honor
For the third time this season, Franklin & Marshall senior, George Eager was named Centennial Conference Player of the Week. Eager was named the Special Teams Player of the week after cashing in on his only kickoff return in the 29-13 win over Moravian. Eager sprinted 80 yards to pay dirt for his second 80-yard touchdown return of the season and the third touchdown return of his career.

Named the 39th coach in Franklin & Marshall football history on March 22, 2006, Troxell took the reins of the Diplomats following five seasons (2001-2005) as an assistant coach at Lafayette during which he served as video coordinator, running backs coach, recruiting coordinator and special teams coach for the 2004 and 2005 Patriot League champion Leopards.
