Robinson Named D3Hoops.com Coach of the Year

LANCASTER, Pa. - Head coach Glenn Robinson earned his second postseason honor in one week being named D3hoops.com Coach of the Year, announced on Saturday.

Robinson nabbed D3hoops.com All-Middle Atlantic Region Coach of the Year prior to the Diplomats departure for the NCAA Semifinals. In his 38th season at the helm, he led the young squad to fourth place at the NCAA Championships to finish with a 26-7 record for a 14-win turnaround from last year's 12-13 team. The Diplomats were the Centennial Conference (CC) regular season champions and earned at an at-large bid into the dance.

The all-time winningest coach in Division III with 756 victories, Robinson has guided F&M to 20 NCAA Tournament appearances, 12 trips to the Sweet 16, six to the Elite Eight and five to the Final Four. He was named the Basketball Times Division III "Coach of the Year" in 1991and earned conference and NABC "Coach of the Year" honors 12 times.
