McNally Named All-Region

LANCASTER, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall sophomore, James McNally (Bridgewater, N.J. / Bridgewater-Raritan), was named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) All-Middle Atlantic Region Second Team.

McNally averaged 16.0 points and 7.7 rebounds per game for the Diplomats in 2008-2009. He scored 529 points and pulled down 254 rebounds. The sophomore led the Diplomats to their fifth appearance in the NCAA Division III National Championship weekend. 

McNally scored 20 or more points eight times on the season and recorded eight double-doubles as well. The All-Region honor is the second of the postseason for McNally. He was previously named to the D3Hoops.com All-Region Team.

Franklin & Marshall made its 20th NCAA appearance in 2009 advancing to the round of 16 for the 12th time, the round of eight for the seventh time and the championship weekend for the fifth time. The Diplomats finished the season with a 26-7 mark.
