Franklin & Marshall's men's basketball team has advanced to the National Semifinals for the fifth time in the program's history. Here is the inside scoop for F&M fans interested in making the trip to Salem...

If you can’t get to Salem…

Saturday’s Championship Final will be aired on CBS College Sports TV.  The station is generally a tier above basic cable. Check with your cable/satellite provider.

Friday night’s semifinals and Saturday’s consolation game will be webcast through CBS College Sports. The webcast will include video and on-screen graphics. D3Hoops.com will also provide audio coverage of all four games. Both the audio and video streams can be accessed from the official championship site. Live stats can also be accessed on the championship site.


Automated F&M Championship Information: Prerecorded information will be available on Monday at (717) 291-4102. This extension will be manned from 1 to 4 p.m., Monday through Wednesday.

Championship Weekend Schedule

Friday, March 20 – Semifinals
Guilford vs. Washington (Missouri) - 5:00 p.m.
Franklin & Marshall vs. Richard Stockton – 7:00 p.m.

Saturday, March 21 – Championship/Consolation
Third Place Game – 12:30 p.m.
Championship Game – 3:00 p.m.

Tickets

Important: Sit amongst friends. Franklin & Marshall has been allotted a block of 500 tickets occupying two neighboring sections of the Salem Civic Center. These tickets can only be purchased (or reserved) through Franklin & Marshall. Advance ticket sales will take place in the Mayser Center lobby at the following times:

  • Monday: 1-3 p.m.
  • Tuesday: 1-3 p.m. and 5-7 p.m.
  • Wednesday: 1-3 p.m.

If you cannot make it to campus for advance sales, you may reserve tickets in the block. Please contact Kathy Ham via email at kathy.ham@fandm.edu, detailing each name in your party and which package you are interested in (see below). Reserved tickets will be available for pick up on Friday in the lobby of the Salem Civic Center from 2 p.m. until the opening tipoff.

Special Needs Seating…

Fans in need of handicapped and special needs seating should contact the Salem Civic Center directly at (540) 375-3004. The handicapped seating area is directly in front of the F&M block of seats.

Dip Zone on the Road…

Section A-2 has been reserved as the “Dip Zone.” A2 is along the baseline by the F&M bench. Tickets for the “Dip Zone” must be reserved by calling the Salem Civic Center at (540) 375-3004. Please ask for seats in section A2. Individual session may be purchased for the Dip Zone on gameday.

High school and younger: $12.50

Adults: $12.00 in advance; $15.00 day of game

High School and Younger: $7.50

Advance tickets can also be purchased directly from the Salem Civic Center, however, those seats will not be in a Franklin & Marshall designated section.  The Salem Civic Center ticket office is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday. Please call (540) 375-3004.
Lodging

Franklin & Marshall’s host hotel is the La Quinta in Salem, Virginia. The hotel and staff will be decked out in blue & white. The hotel will host a social with hors d’oeuvres, soda and water on Friday evening.

Meet Your Friends

Franklin & Marshall has reserved a room for F&M alumni, parents and fans at the Salem Civic Center. "Parlor Room A" will be available to Fummers on Friday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. The room will offer light refreshments and a gathering space for Diplomats fans.
